Weekend Soaker: Another Storm Set To Drench NJ
Another rainstorm is on its way, bringing heavy winds, minor flooding and drenching rains to New Jersey.
NEW JERSEY — Following a week of rain, another storm is on its way towards New Jersey, bringing winds up to 45 mph, minor flooding and drenching rains.
Though things will be drier Thursday and Friday, another round of rain is expected Saturday into Saturday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Most of New Jersey is expected to see half an inch to one inch of rainfall, forecasters say.

The amount of rain expected wouldn't normally be enough for flooding concerns, but forecasters say that the already wet ground increases potential for some minor flooding on rivers and streams.

Minor tidal flooding is also possible on the Atlantic coast, Delaware Bay and tidal Delaware River with high tide cycles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the National Weather Service said.

There's also a chance of heavy winds on Sunday night into Monday, with gusts near 45 mph possible, the National Weather Service said.
Here's the latest forecast, according to the National Weather Service:
North Jersey
Thursday: A slight chance of showers before 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 33. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Friday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 52. North wind around 5 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday: A slight chance of rain and snow before 10 a.m., then rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 45. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Saturday Night: Rain. Low around 40. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Sunday: A chance of rain before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Breezy.
Central Jersey
Thursday: A slight chance of showers before 2 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 56. North wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 35. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east in the afternoon.
