‘Brickfest’ Education fundraiser
Raise a glass to supporting education the inaugural Brickfest fundraiser. Icarus Brewing is teaming up with the Brick Chamber Education Foundation - which awards scholarships for continuing education, vocation and academics - to raise funds and celebrate Icarus Brewing’s move to Brick. "Summer of Love" 60s music fest in Haddon
Get your groove on at this festival, taking place from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Haddon Township. With several bands set to perform, the event will also feature a beer garden, artisans and makers, food trucks, a kid zone and a hula hoop contest.
Bands will include Invasion 65, Love Alive, AM Radio, Endless Summer, and The Priceless Band. Attendees can name that tune and test their knowledge of the 60s in the Summer of Love trivia contest. (Read more on Patch.)
Sea Isle City Foodie Weekend
Roll, bike, or walk up to this festival for food trucks, games, music, craft vendors, and more. Find BBQ, Italian food, empanadas, and a smorgasbord of other savory options — with plenty of desserts and beverages on offer, too.
The event is Friday and Saturday, noon to 8 p.m. at Kix Bars, 63rd and Landis Avenue in Sea Isle City. (Read more here.)
Rutgers E.A.R.T.H. Center: Garden, Arts, and Music Festival in South Brunswick
Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Middlesex County invites everyone to come out to Davidson’s Mill Pond Park (42 Riva Avenue) for a day of live arts displays, local music acts, and mini-lectures on gardening and cooking.
The annual E.A.R.T.H. Center Garden, Arts and Music Festivalwill take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, rain or shine. (Read more on Patch.)
Fireworks Festival in Long Valley
The annual fireworks display will take place at Long Valley Middle School on Saturday, and all area locals are invited to attend.
The festival will kick off at 6 p.m. with live music, food trucks, a beer garden and a Green Festival behind Long Valley Middle School from 5 until 8:30 p.m.
The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 8:45 p.m. as the sun sets at the West Mill Road school. (Read more on Patch.)
