Free Coffee Day: Wawa Celebrates Company's 62nd Anniversary

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Thursday is "Wawa Day," the convenience chain's 62nd anniversary, marking the opening of the first "Wawa Food Market" in Folsom, Pennsylvania.

To celebrate, Wawa is giving away any size hot coffee to customers at all of its 1,200 locations.

Guests must be Wawa Rewards members. Registration can be done for free online or on the Wawa app.

The day began with a series of events across the region, including a ceremonial coffee pour and toast at 7 a.m. at the Wawa on MacDade Boulevard in Delaware County.

Representatives from Wawa were also on hand to present $250,000 in gift cards to the Wawa Foundation's National Charity Partners.
