Officials Mandate Curfew After Protestor Clashes Around Delaney Hall

On Saturday night, demonstrations continued outside Delaney Hall, an immigration detention center in Newark, with protestors setting street fires with tires, throwing barriers and other objects at police officers, according to media reports.

The night of chaos led law enforcement to arrest dozens of people and announce a curfew in the area, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., according to News 12.

Woman, 81, Dies In Mercer County Truck Crash

An 81-year-old woman died on a Mercer County highway Friday afternoon after a collision with a truck, according to media reports.

Police said the crash happened at 2:36 p.m. on Route 130 near Woodside Road in Robbinsville, NJ.com reports.

Man In Critical Condition After Scooter Crash In Newark

A man is in critical condition after his scooter crashed into a car on Saturday morning in Newark, according to media reports.

According to News12, the crash took place along the shoulder of Route 1 and 9.

Man Hospitalized After Shooting In Howell, Prosecutor Says

Authorities are investigating a shooting early Sunday in Howell that left a man hospitalized, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.

The shooting was reported by a 911 call at 12:05 a.m. on the 200 block of Alexander Avenue, the prosecutor's office said.

Monroe Township Man Indicted On Hit-And-Run Charges

The Ocean County grand jury has indicted a Monroe Township man after a fatal hit-and-run crash, according to media reports.

Artice Norvell, 54, was indicted on charges of vehicular homicide and knowingly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash resulting in death, App reports.
