When it comes to fine dining, one restaurant in New Jersey hit the mark with tourists, according to a travel platform's ranking based on diner reviews.
Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards represent the "best of the best" in several categories.
"When you're looking for the crème-de-la-crème, these are the places worth getting on the waitlist for. Think: white tablecloths, best-in-class chefs, and unforgettable bites, the site said.
Only 19 restaurants made the cut in the fine dining category. In New Jersey, tourists raved about Capriccio Italian Restaurant in Atlantic City.
With a 4.7-star rating and more than 1,300 reviews, this classic white-tablecloth restaurant is acclaimed for its housemade pasta, fresh seafood, large portions and ornate interiors.
"Capriccio was made for group dinners and big celebrations," Tripadvisor writes. "Aim for a table by the windows to make the most of the views."
The restaurant is located at 1133 Boardwalk Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
Tripadvisor said the "best of the best" title celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel.
It's awarded to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from Tripadvisor users over a 12-month period. Out of the site's 8 million listings, fewer than 1 percent achieve this milestone.
