Chance Of Snow, Then Major Temperature Change For NJ

A dusting of snow is possible in parts of New Jersey on Monday before temperatures heat up this week. Monday remains cold with temperatures ranging from 27 to 43, depending on where you are in the Garden State.

Additionally, those north of Interstate 78 could see a few snow showers on Monday night, "though no significant accumulations are expected," according to the National Weather Service(NWS).

Cold temperatures will remain into Tuesday with light rain possible Tuesday night, especially north of I-78. Some light freezing rain is also possible at night in the Poconos area.

However, Tuesday will mark the start of a warm-up this week.

"A stretch of above normal temperatures are expected this week with relatively benign weather until some widespread rain comes later in the week," according to the NWS.

Wednesday will bring a partly to mostly sunny day with temperatures ranging from 40 to 55 degrees. Thursday is also expected to remain sunny and warm with temperatures ranging from 42 to 55 degrees.

Friday could see a high of 59 degrees in some parts of the state, but it will also bring widespread rain throughout New Jersey.
