New Jersey Baby Born On Mom, Grandma's Birthday

Remembering to buy birthday cards should be pretty easy for this family.

PRINCETON, NJ — It's rare for three members of the same family to have the same birthday, and even more rare if they aren't triplets. But that's exactly what happened with the birth on Sunday of Micah Lee Dunn in Princeton, who will forever share the day with both his mother and grandmother.

Clara Gregory said she had a feeling her daughter Theresa Dunn would give birth on Nov. 19 even though the baby wasn't expected until Christmas. Dunn, of Lawrence, was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night and doctors tried to induce labor. Dunn's husband repeatedly told her the baby would be born on her and her mother's birthday.

"I finally came to the realization Saturday night that he could really be born on our birthday," she told NJ.com.

Dunn was previously diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, which causes high blood pressure in pregnant women. She said doctors hoped to get closer to her expected due date before inducing labor.

Micah is several weeks early but is "doing amazing," Dunn said.
