NJ Easter, Passover Dining Guide 2022: Restaurant & To-Go Specials

NEW JERSEY — Whether you’re celebrating Easter, Passover or simply the return of spring weather in New Jersey, there are brunch and dinner specials coming up this week across the state.
This year, Easter falls on Sunday, April 17, while Passover runs April 15 to 22. From fine dining restaurants to nationwide chains, there are deals galore for keep-it-easy, at-home celebrations with takeout feasts or for on-site restaurant dining this week.
According to OpenTable, several Garden State restaurants will have special menus prepared for April 17, including MonAlyssa (Point Pleasant Beach) The Frog and the Peach (New Brunswick), Son Cubano (West New York), Mistral (Princeton), Pancetta (Teaneck), The Stewed Cow (Hoboken), The Inn at Glen Gardner (Clinton), The Parisian Tea Room (Marlboro) and The Feathered Fox (Livingston).

Red Horse: The Rumson-based restaurant from celebrity chef David Burke is offering an a la carte brunch menu on Easter Sunday until 2:30 p.m., then a three-course dinner starting at $95 per person. Menu offerings include lobster dumplings, tuna tartare, burrata salad, pork and clams, striped bass and lamb chop. See the menu here. Burke’s other New Jersey restaurants in East Brunswick, Fort Lee, Morristown and Sea Bright will offer Easter specials as well.
Red Lobster: The seafood chain extended its $19.99 "Ultimate Endless Shrimp" special to Easter weekend. Diners can endlessly mix and match shrimp choices, including Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, Walt's Favorite Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi & Grilled Shrimp Skewer. Meals include side & unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Make sure to ask your server for details, as may not be included on the menu. Offer applies weekends only: April 8-10 & 15-17. Website here. Panda Express: Celebrate Easter with a freebie deal. Krispy Kreme: This year's spring line-up includes all-new, filled minis — hand-decorated egg-shaped, shell-filled doughnuts in 16-count box. Selections include: Mini Chocolate Egg Doughnut; Mini Cake Batter Egg Doughnut; Mini Strawberries & Kreme™ Egg Doughnut; & fan-favorite Mini Chick Doughnut, with white Kreme, yellow icing, white sugar and decorated like a chick. Denny’s: Stretch a dollar for Easter and take advantage of new "Endless Breakfast" special, offering "endless" buttermilk pancakes, cheesy scrambled eggs & hash browns starting at $6.99-$8.99. Boston Market: Heat-and serve Easter meals can be ordered online for pick-up April 13-17. Entree options include whole, spiral-sliced ham, whole boneless ham & half boneless ham. Meal packages serve either six or 12 and include such sides as mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, mac & cheese, plus apple pie. Tim Hortons: The coffee and donut chain will be offering Tim Hortons Hershey’s Candy Coated Eggs Dream Donuts at nationwide locations. Refreshers will be available for $1 through May 3 when you order via the mobile app.
Bar Louie: Enjoy Easter brunch with $15 bottomless mimosas until 3 p.m., along with a regular brunch menu. Website here.
Fogo de Chao: Fixed dinner pricing will be available all day on Easter Sunday at the Brazilian-inspired restaurant. Kids 7-12 years of age eat half price and children 6 and under are free with purchase of the Full Churrasco Experience; Brazilian-inspired Easter To-Go packages are also available to order for pickup and/or delivery on April 16 and 17. Whole Foods: Heat-and-serve options are available from the grocery giant, including an Easter Feast for 12 for under $300, as well as a ham dinner for $140 serving eight and a turkey breast dinner for four at $70. A la carte options are also available. Website here.
