New Jersey Stop & Shop Stores to Provide Free Reusable Bags in the Days Leading Up to the Statewide Ban on Single-Use Plastic and Paper Bags
With the New Jersey bag ban beginning this Wednesday, May 4th--Stop & Shop stores across New Jersey are providing shoppers with free reusable bags this Monday and Tuesday. Stop & Shop representatives were joined today by Westfield Mayor, Shelley Brindle, at the Westfield Stop & Shop to distribute reusable bags to customers. Stop & Shop says it is providing the free reusable bags to customers to make the transition as easy as possible for them.
