Traffic Updates

North Jersey

As of 8:18 a.m., there's a crash on I-80 westbound west of Exit 55 - NJ 62/Union Boulevard in Totowa. 2 right lanes closed.

As of 7:18 a.m., there are pothole repairs on NJ 21 northbound north of Exit 10 - CR 614/CR 624/Van Houten Avenue in Passaic. 1 center lane closed.

As of 5:49 a.m., there's an unanticipated construction delay on US westbound west of McBride Avenue/Little Falls Avenue in Little Falls Township. 2 left lanes closed; 5 minute delay.

As of 5:31 a.m., there's a disabled truck on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound south of Interchange 13 - I-278/Goethals Bridge in Linden. 1 center lane blocked.

As of 6:04 a.m., there are delays on the George Washington Bridge lower and upper levels eastbound New Jersey side in Fort Lee. All lanes open. The travel time is 20 minutes on I-95 from I-80 to the Alexander Hamilton Bridge.

As of 6:01 a.m., there are delays at the Holland Tunnel south tunnel eastbound New Jersey side - Toll Plaza in Jersey City. All lanes open. The travel time to the New York side is 20 minutes from New Jersey Turnpike Exit 14C and 20 minutes from New Jersey 139 at Tonnelle Circle.

Central Jersey

As of 8:18 a.m., there's a water main break on NJ 33 westbound east of CR 539/Main Street in Hightstown. 1 right shoulder closed; 5-10 delay.

As of 5:23 a.m., there's a disabled truck on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound south of Interchange 12 - Carteret-Rahway in Carteret. Right shoulder blocked.

As of 4:02 a.m., there’s construction on NJ 175 northbound from West Upper Ferry Road to NJ 29 in Ewing Township. All lanes closed and detoured until further notice.

South Jersey

As of 8:07 a.m., there's an overturned vehicle, vehicle fire and fluid spill on US 322 westbound NJ 50 in Hamilton. All lanes closed; 5-10 delay in the area.

As of 6:10 a.m., there's an unanticipated construction delay on US 130 southbound from Haines Mill Road in Delran Township to Taylors Lane/New Albany Road in Cinnaminson. 2 left lanes closed until 7 a.m.

As of 4:11 a.m., there’s construction on NJ 70 in both directions between Cropwell Road in Evesham Township and CR 673/Springdale Road in Cherry Hill. All lanes shift until 11:59 p.m. on July 15.

Transit Updates

Rail service into and out of Penn Station New York is operating on or close to schedule following earlier Amtrak overhead wire issues. NJ TRANSIT tickets and passes are no longer being cross honored by PATH at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and 33rd Street.

Northeast Corridor train #3813, the 6:42 a.m. Trenton arrival is up to 35 minutes late following earlier Amtrak overhead wire issues.

Northeast Corridor train 3702, the 5:26 a.m. departure from Jersey Avenue, is cancelled due to equipment availability resulting from earlier Amtrak overhead wire issues.

Northeast Corridor train #3704, the 6 a.m. departure from Jersey Avenue, is cancelled due to equipment availability resulting from earlier Amtrak overhead wire issues.

The 6:38 a.m. Newark Light Rail departure from Branch Brook Park to Newark Penn Station and the 6:56 AM Newark Penn Station departure to Grove Street are cancelled due to operator availability.

The 5:57 a.m. Newark Light Rail Silver Lake to Newark Penn Station departure and the 6:19 a.m. from Newark Penn Station to Branch Brook Park are cancelled due to operator availability.

All other NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.

NJ Weather

Expect mostly sunny skies today with a high near 89, according to the National Weather Service.
