Good morning, New Jersey Patch readers! Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Thursday, July 21, 2022:

Traffic Updates

North Jersey

As of 7:06 a.m., there's a disabled truck on the George Washington Bridge upper-level eastbound approaching New Jersey side Toll Plaza in Fort Lee. 1 left lane blocked.

As of 6:33 a.m., there's a crash on US 1&9 local lanes northbound Wilson Avenue in Newark. 1 left lane closed; 10-15 minute delay.

As of 6:24 a.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike entrance ramp Bay-Way Avenue to Interchange 13 in Elizabeth. All lanes open with partial ramp blockage.

As of 4:53 a.m., there's a crash investigation on I-287 southbound south of Exit 66 - NJ 17 in Mahwah. 2 right lanes closed.

As of 6:20 a.m., there are delays at the Holland Tunnel south tunnel eastbound New Jersey side - Toll Plaza in Jersey City. All lanes open. The travel time to the New York side is 15 minutes from New Jersey Turnpike Exit 14C and 20 minutes from New Jersey 139 at Tonnelle Circle.

Central Jersey

As of 6:27 a.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway southbound exit ramp Interchange 11 - Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge. All lanes open.

As of 6:02 a.m., there's a crash with injuries on I-195 westbound east of Exit 3 - Hamilton Square - Yardville Road in Hamilton. 1 right lane and shoulder closed; 5-10 minute delay.

South Jersey

As of 7:02 a.m., there's a disabled tractor trailer and a vehicle fire on I-295 southbound ramp to Exit 43 - CR 838/Creek Road in Mount Laurel. All lanes open; ramp closed and detoured.

As of 4:13 a.m., there's long term road construction on US 206 southbound ramp to north of New Jersey Turnpike in Bordentown. Right shoulder closed and exit ramp to New Jersey Turnpike Interchange 7 closed and detoured.

Transit Updates

Hudson Bergen Light Rail service is suspended in both directions between Harborside and Newport due to a pedestrian strike. Substitute bus service is being provided.

Morris and Essex train #402, the 6:33 a.m. arrival into Hoboken, is up to 20 minutes late due to an earlier mechanical issue near Bernardsville Station.

Morris and Essex train #6602, the 5:44 a.m. arrival at PSNY, will be cancelled at Newark Broad Street due to mechanical issues.

Northeast Corridor train #3813, the 6:42 a.m. arrival at Trenton, has been cancelled at Secaucus due to mechanical issues.

All NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.

NJ Weather

Expect a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Otherwise, Thursday will see mostly sunny skies with a high near 95.
