Traffic Signal Down, Commuting Delays In NJ: Patch AM Traffic Digest

Good morning, New Jersey Patch readers! Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Friday, July 1, 2022:

Traffic Updates

North Jersey

As of 7:37 a.m., there's debris on the Garden State Parkway northbound north of Exit 165A -B - Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus.

As of 7:09 a.m., there are delays and an earlier incident on Pulaski Skyway northbound Tonnelle Circle in Jersey City. All lanes open.

As of 6:13 a.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike - Hudson County Extension eastbound west of Jersey Avenue/Holland Tunnel in Jersey City. 1 right lane blocked.

As of 6:02 a.m., there's a disabled vehicle on the Garden State Parkway northbound exit ramp Exit 144 - CR 510 in Irvington. All lanes open.

Central Jersey

As of 8:02 a.m., there's a crash on the Garden State Parkway northbound south of Exit 89A-NJ 70 East in Lakewood. 1 right lane blocked.

As of 7:56 a.m., there's debris on the Garden State Parkway local lanes southbound north of Garden State Parkway - Cheesequake Service Area in Sayreville. 1 left lane blocked; state police traffic slowdown in progress.

As of 7:42 a.m., there's a crash with injuries on I-195 eastbound west of Exit 11 - CR 524 in Upper Freehold. 1 left lane and shoulder closed; 5 -10 minute delay.

As of 6:32 a.m., there's a downed pole and a traffic signal down on US 9 southbound Washington Avenue in Beachwood. All lanes shift.

As of 6:28 a.m., there's debris on the Garden State Parkway northbound north of Exit 100C - NJ 66 West in Tinton Falls. 1 center lane blocked.

South Jersey

As of 6:12 a.m., there are delays on NJ 55 northbound from Exit 58 - Deptford Center Road to south of N J42 in Deptford. All lanes open; 10-15 minute delay.

All NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.
