Good morning, New Jersey Patch readers! Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Wednesday, July 13, 2022:

Traffic Updates

North Jersey

As of 7:54 a.m., there's a crash on the Garden State Parkway southbound north of Exit 142 - I-78 in Irvington. 1 left lane blocked.

As of 7:48 a.m., there's a collapsed sewer grate and emergency construction on US 1&9 northbound ramp to Haynes Avenue in Newark. All lanes closed.

As of 7:20 a.m., there's a crash on the Garden State Parkway northbound Exit 139B - Union in Union Township. 1 left lane blocked.

As of 6:39 a.m., there's a crash on US 1&9 northbound at Wood Avenue in Linden. 2 right lanes closed.

As of 6:04 a.m., there are delays on the George Washington Bridge upper-level eastbound New Jersey side in Fort Lee. All lanes open. The travel time is 20 minutes on I-95 from I-80 to the Alexander Hamilton Bridge.

As of 6:01 a.m., there are delays at the Holland Tunnel south tunnel eastbound New Jersey side - Toll Plaza in Jersey City. All lanes open. The travel time to the New York side is 20 minutes from New Jersey Turnpike Exit 14C and 20 minutes from New Jersey 139 at Tonnelle Circle.

As of 5:41 a.m., there's a crash and a disabled tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike/I-95 southbound south of Exit 71 (NB) - NJ 4/Broad Avenue in Leonia.

As of 5:03 a.m., there's a crash with injuries, downed wires and a downed pole on NJ 53 in both directions on Front Street in Denville. All lanes closed.

Central Jersey

As of 7:48 a.m., there's a crash investigation on I-78 westbound east of Exit 36 - CR 651 in Warren. 1 left lane closed; 5-10 minute delay.

As of 7:14 a.m., there's a disabled vehicle on US 202 northbound north of Milltown Road in Bridgewater Township. 1 left lane closed.

As of 6:23 a.m., there's a crash investigation on I-78 westbound east of Exit 36 - CR 651 in Warren. 1 left lane closed; 5-10 minute delay.

As of 4:02 a.m., there’s construction on NJ 175 northbound from West Upper Ferry Road to NJ 29 in Ewing Township. All lanes closed and detoured until further notice.

As of midnight, there's a water main break on US 1 southbound in the area of Adams Lane/Cozzens Lane in North Brunswick. 1 right lane closed; 10 minute delay.

South Jersey

As of 6:57 a.m., there are delays on NJ 42 northbound from Exit 10A - NJ 168/Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township to south of I-295 in Bellmawr. All lanes open.

As of 4:11 a.m., there’s construction on NJ 70 in both directions between Cropwell Road in Evesham Township and CR 673/Springdale Road in Cherry Hill. All lanes shift until 11:59 p.m. on July 15.

Transit Updates

Northeast Corridor train #3702, the 5:26 a.m. departure from Jersey Avenue, is cancelled due to equipment availability resulting from mechanical issues. Please take train #3704, the 6 a.m. departure from Jersey Avenue, making additional stops.

Northeast Corridor train #3700, the 6:07 a.m. arrival into PSNY, is up to 25 minutes late due to earlier mechanical issues.

The 5:29 a.m. Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Tonnelle Ave to Hoboken departure and the 6:32 a.m. Hoboken departure to Tonnelle Ave are cancelled due to a mechanical issue.

All NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.

NJ Weather

Expect isolated showers after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise, Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 90.
