Locals may want to check their pantries after a recall was issued for a popular rice brand.

A recall was issued on April 4 for Lundberg Organic Jasmine White Rice sold in two-pound bags stores due to the "possible presence of foreign material."

Wegmans issued the recall notice; however, the brand is sold at other major grocery store chains, including Target, Walmart, and Whole Foods.

The recalled product is identified as Lundberg Organic Jasmine White Rice with UPC 073416- 040281.

The notice lists two impacted best-by dates and lot codes: 02/01/2027, 260201, and 02/02/2027, 260202.

All recalled products may be returned to Wegmans for a full refund.
