Road Work, Commuting Delays In NJ: Patch AM Traffic Digest

Good morning, New Jersey Patch readers! Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Monday, July 11, 2022:

Traffic Updates

North Jersey

As of 8:15 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 4 westbound east of Belle Avenue in Teaneck. 1 right lane closed; 5-minute delay.

As of 8 a.m., there's a sinkhole on NJ 181 southbound north of CR 517/Sparta Avenue in Sparta. Right shoulder closed for repairs.

As of 7:36 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 3 westbound west of CR 509/Broad Street in Clifton. 1 right lane closed.

As of 6:17 a.m., there are delays on the George Washington Bridge lower and upper levels eastbound New Jersey side in Fort Lee. All lanes open. The travel time is 20 minutes on I-95 from I-80 to the Alexander Hamilton Bridge.

As of 6:01 a.m., there are delays at the Holland Tunnel south tunnel eastbound New Jersey side - Toll Plaza in Jersey City. All lanes open. The travel time to the New York side is 20 minutes from New Jersey Turnpike Exit 14C and 20 minutes from New Jersey 139 at Tonnelle Circle.

Central Jersey

As of 8:07 a.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway southbound north of Interchange 8A - NJ 32 in South Brunswick. 1 left lane blocked.

As of 4:20 a.m., there's emergency construction on NJ 34 northbound at CR 524/Allaire Road in Wall Township. 1 right lane closed.

South Jersey

As of 4:08 a.m., there's construction on I-76 westbound from west of Exit 1D - US 130 to east of Exit 2 - I-676 in Gloucester City. All lanes shift.

Transit Updates

All NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.

NJ Weather

Expect patchy fog before 8 a.m., per the National Weather Service. Otherwise, Monday should see sunny skies with a high near 84.
