Update: Snow, Freezing Rain Moving Into NJ
Those looking forward to spring have to wait through another round of snow/freezing rain before warmer weather returns this week.
Snow and freezing rain are expected to cause a slippery morning commute for New Jerseyans Tuesday morning, according to the latest forecast.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for Salem, Hunterdon, Somerset, Mercer, Sussex, Warren, Morris, Gloucester, Camden and northwestern Burlington counties through Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
While significant accumulations aren't expected, slippery and icy roads are anticipated for Tuesday.

Into the afternoon, precipitation will transition to plain rain, National Weather Service forecasters said.
The good news is that a "significant warmup" is in store by midweek, according to the National Weather Service. By Thursday, temperatures could reach the upper 50s to upper 60s, forecasters said. Coastal areas will remain below that due to cold water temperatures.

There will also be several chances for rain showers throughout the week, but forecasters say this will be mainly beneficial rain due to ongoing drought conditions.
Highs over the weekend will remain mainly in the 60s and 70s, according to the National Weather Service.

North Jersey
Monday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 23. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Tuesday: Rain, snow, and freezing rain before 1 p.m., then rain, possibly mixed with snow between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., then rain after 2 p.m. High near 37. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tuesday Night: Rain, mainly before 4 a.m. Low around 35. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
