Support Ukrainian Refugees By Donating Blood In New Jersey: Here's How
For every donor who registers in April, New Jersey Blood Services will donate $1 to help support Ukrainian people fleeing their home.
NEW JERSEY — Garden State residents can roll up their sleeves this month to help support Ukrainian refugees through New Jersey Blood Services, according to a news release.
For every donor who registers in April, NJBS will donate $1 to Global Blood Fund's efforts to rehome Ukrainian refugees. Global Blood Fund is a charity partnering with blood centers around the country to support Ukrainian people fleeing their home.
GBF is working to settle refugees in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., the news release said.

New Jersey Blood Services is a division of New York Blood Center.
“This campaign just began and already we have received a tremendous response -- our donors show up not just for their neighbors, but for the people around the world who need help,” said Andrea Cefarelli, Senior Executive Director at New Jersey Blood Services. “We’re proud to work with Global Blood Fund and to help support Ukrainian refugees in need of sanctuary.”

"The terrible situation in Ukraine means that millions of its citizens are displaced and in need of a new home. We are grateful to New Jersey Blood Services and to its blood donors for supporting our initiative to help Ukrainians find safe refuge,” said Gavin Evans, Executive Director at Global Blood Fund.
