Tractor Trailers Flip On NJ Turnpike: Patch AM Traffic Digest

Good morning, New Jersey Patch readers! Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Wednesday, June 29, 2022:

Traffic Updates

North Jersey

As of 7:58 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 495 eastbound near Pleasant Avenue in Union City. 1 left lane blocked.

As of 7:58 a.m., there's a crash on the Garden State Parkway northbound north of Exit 143C - NJ 124 in Irvington. 1 right lane blocked.

As of 4:37 a.m., there's a crash and an overturned tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike westbound entrance ramp I-278 Goethals Bridge to Interchange 13 in Elizabeth. All lanes closed to traffic.

Central Jersey

As of 7:14 a.m., there's a pedestrian accident on US 22 eastbound Cramer Avenue in Greek Brook. All lanes closed.

As of 3:02 a.m., there's a crash investigation on US 130 in both directions north of CR 695/Old Georges Road in North Brunswick. All lanes closed and detoured.

South Jersey

As of 6:47 a.m., there's a crash with injuries on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound north of Delaware Memorial Bridge in Carneys Point. 2 left lanes blocked.

As of 5:27 a.m., there's an overturned tractor trailer on I-295 southbound at Exit 2 - New Jersey Turnpike/NJ 140 in Carneys Point. All lanes closed and detoured; 5-10 minute delay.

As of 5:21 a.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound north of Interchange 3 - NJ 168 in Bellmawr. All lanes open to traffic.

Transit Updates

Montclair-Boonton train #6204, the 6:46 a.m. arrival into PSNY, was cancelled at Glen Ridge due to mechanical issues.

All NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.

NJ Weather

Expect partly sunny skies transitioning sunny skies in the afternoon with a high near 85.
