• Mosquito spraying scheduled Thursday night in 2 Warren County communities (wrnjradio.com) — Alpha is among several Warren County towns where mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile virus, prompting targeted spraying Thursday night in Hardwick and Independence. While spraying isn't scheduled in Alpha this week, residents should be aware of nearby activity, the elevated countywide mosquito counts, and how to get prevention and treatment details from the county mosquito commission.
