Asbury Park police had an event that helped people understand the rules of the road – while riding a bike.Members of the Asbury Park Police Department participated in Asbury Park Alive last week.Free helmets and lights were distributed to bicyclists, and kids were educated on the laws for each.Sponsors included Asbury Park Toy Drive, Asbury Park Recreation, Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce, EZ Ride, Hackensack Meridian Health, Monmouth Medical Center, Safe Kids (Monmouth/Ocean) and Second Life Bikes.
