A developer has a proposal to double the number of floors and add apartments to a structure near the Steinbach building, according to reports.

The development would maintain as much of the original facade as possible, according to The Asbury Park Sun.

The building, at the corner of Bangs Avenue and Emory Street, currently has retail space on the first floor and offices on the second floor, according to The Asbury Park Press.
