Asbury Park Collecting Toiletries For Homeless Jan. 3 - 23

From Jan. 3 - Jan. 23, Asbury Park Mayor John Moor is holding a toiletry collection drive for people experiencing homelessness.

ASBURY PARK, NJ — From Jan. 3 - Jan. 23, Asbury Park Mayor John Moor is holding a toiletry collection drive for people experiencing homelessness.

The city is collecting new, unused toiletry and personal items only: The public is asked to consider donating toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, lotion, sock, gloves, underwear (all sizes), bottles of water and Ziplock bags.

The public is asked to drop off donations at City Hall or the Asbury Park Public Library.

When you can drop the items off:

City Hall lobby: Weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Asbury Park Public Library, 500 1st Avenue: (Mon, Tues & Wed 11am to 8pm; Thurs 9am to 5pm; Fri 11am to 5pm; Sat 10am to 3pm)
