Asbury Park Ranks Last On List For Best NJ Family Towns
See where Asbury Park ranked on a list of the best-to-worst towns for families in New Jersey, according to a new ranking.
ASBURY PARK, NJ — Asbury Park was ranked last on a list of towns that are best for families in New Jersey, according to a new ranking published by New Jersey Family magazine (see list below).
The magazine looked at towns with more than 1,500 residents, and took into account several key factors, including average home sale price, crime rates, school performance, commute time, and diversity. They then took that data to find the different rankings, including the best overall, best for commuters, and best large, mid-sized, and small towns.

Asbury Park is home to the beach, the Boardwalk and an old fashioned downtown that dates back to the 19th Century that has undergone an extensive and impressive refurbishing over the past two decades.
