Asbury Park Weekend Shooting Under Investigation: Prosecutor

A Sunday night shooting in Asbury Park is currently under investigation, county prosecutors said. Here's the latest.

ASBURY PARK, NJ - A Sunday night shooting in Asbury Park that left one person injured is currently under investigation, authorities said.

Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Chris Swendeman told Patch that the shooting occurred around 6:04 p.m. near the 100 block of Langford Street.

One victim is in stable condition, Swendeman said.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit and Asbury Park Police Department are investigating the incident, he said.
