ASBURY PARK – Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said it's time to work to bridge the divide between the community and law enforcement – especially with the recent violence that's taken place in Asbury Park and elsewhere.
Grewal, speaking this week at St. Stephens AMEZ Church in Asbury Park, said communities such as the seaside city are "hurting" because of the mistrust between law enforcement and the community.
Grewal said many people will say they feel "fear, mistrust" and they're "scared, confused."
