More acts will join Dave Matthews at the second annual Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park on September 21st and 22nd.
The B-52s, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Bad Religion and the Dropkick Murphys will be part of the 2-day festival that will likely feature more than 25 bands along with unique art and surf culture experiences.
The festival has been led by Danny Clinch of Between The Sets, and C3 Presents, the team behind events such as Lollapalooza and the Austin City Limits Music Festival, said Councilperson Eileen Chapman. “We know what they are going to bring to the city is going to be spectacular and we look forward to this being the first of many Sea.Hear.Now Festivals in Asbury Park,” he said.

Last year, the events took place on on three stages near the Asbury Park waterfront at North Beach and Bradley Park. To set up for the festival that is expecting over 20,000 attendees, closures were scheduled for streets, beaches, and the boardwalk.
Organizers say they're working on the other details for the event that brought 45,000 to the seaside community last September.
