Jersey Shore to Host 2026 ComedySportz World Championship at The Jersey Shore Arts Center
24 Improv Teams. 4 Days. 1 Hilarious Championship Battle
Neptune Twp, NJ (May 1, 2026) - ComedySportz Jersey Shore is excited to host the ComedySportz World Championship, bringing together 24 teams from across the country for a four-day competition of fast-paced, improv comedy. The championship will take place June 24-27, at the Jersey Shore Arts Center with a final “winner takes all” match on Saturday, June 27th at 7:30pm.
Top performance teams from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, Milwaukee, Boston and more will descend on the Jersey Shore to battle it out for the ultimate improv title. This will be the 37th annual ComedySportz Championship - but the first time ever held in New Jersey.
Hosting this national event is an exciting win for the Jersey Shore. Live comedy events like ComedySportz celebrate creativity and connection. During the week, the 200 visiting participants will have an opportunity for professional development through workshops and intensives run by some of the best instructors around the country. There will also be special outings planned to forge new friendships and support local businesses, as well as learn about local history.
