Barrio Costero offers coastal Mexican cuisine to the Asbury Park community, specializing in local ingredients and craft cocktails. With a market-driven menu by Antony Busamante, formerly of Mistral, Barrio Costero is serving a combination of innovation and tradition.

Here are the details on Barrio Costero's Cinco de Mayo celebrations, where the goal is to sell more than 1,000 margaritas.

Lunch:

11am-3pm

Barrio Nachos
Butter poached lobster ceviche
Jalapeño and chayote escabeche, saffron avocado aioli

Tacos:
1 - Chivo tacos with arugula, goat cheese, marinated radish
2 - Fish tacos with gooseberry salsa, red cabbage & carrot cream
3 - Shrimp chorizo tacos with salsa verde, pickled red onion and popcorn shoots
4 - Pork Belly and caviar tacos with serrano salsa
5 - Lime grilled chicken tacos with cherry tomato, parsley, cilantro and pasilla chili
6 - Hard shelled artichoke tacos with pickled green pepper, sweet and spicy tomato confit, lemon tofu cream, macadamia nuts
