The Garden State Film Festival Celebrates One Of Its Own
Former Intern Dan Stein Lands NBC News Gig In Boston

The Garden State Film Festival (GSFF) and its Founder Diane Raver, are celebrating the success of one of their own! Former GSFF intern Dan Stein has been hired as a News Writer at NBC10 Boston/NECN (New England Cable News) and is already on the job. Stein interned for The Garden State Film Festival from 2012-2014. Raver, shares that she could not have survived those years without Dan! The extremely proud Mentor and 'Film Momma' explains, "when he was in High School, he spent his free hours helping me as our intern. Dan did everything and was a huge help during the event and at other times of the year."
Stein attended Lyndon State College in Vermont and graduated in May 2018 with a degree in Electronic Journalism. He served as a Reporter/Producer/Anchor for News7 at the college, and was also a college athlete in Rugby and Lacrosse. Stein served as a broadcaster for the Upper Valley Nighthawks of the New England Collegiate Baseball League this past summer.
Please join Raver and the GSFF in congratulating Stein as he launches his professional broadcasting career with this exciting new position!
