An event to protest an alleged homophobic organization will be held in Asbury Park over the next week.
An event to protest an alleged homophobic organization and preacher will be held in Asbury Park over the next week.
The event will be held from June 24th through 29th at 5:45 p.m. at Bradley Park, 101-199 5th Avenue, Asbury Park.
According to organizers, there is a homophobic, transphobic, anti-Islam, anti-woman evangelical "church" organization that's en route to Asbury Park this weekend.

"This traveling evangelist freak show is bringing its message of hate and oppression under the guise of a 'festival of life' to Bradley Park, where #PRIDE is usually held, on June 24th - June 29th," according to organizers. "Six days of this nonsense."
The preacher who runs this organization, Johnathan Shuttlesworth, preaches hate from a bully pulpit of wealth and privilege, according to organizers.
