More than 200 New Jersey towns gained residents in 2018, according to new population estimates for cities and towns released by the U.S. Census Bureau on Thursday. Some of them were in the Jersey Shore.

The estimates show which New Jersey towns gained or lost the most residents in 2018, and which towns have the most-to-least people. Asbury Park showed a declined over 2017 (see list below).

Overall, New Jersey gained 19,977 residents in 2018 and had a total population of 8.9 million.
