Per a police report obtained by Patch, two out of the three responding police officers at the scene of the early morning Nov. 6 incident noted that they were familiar with the high school football team's head coach Nick Famularo.
Famularo, who went to school with at least one of the responding officers per the police report, has been suspended from the team as of Nov. 8. Two assistant coaches, Matt Ardizzone and Lamar Davenport, as well as the district's athletic director Mark Gerbino, were also suspended, according to the Asbury Park Press.

On Nov. 6 at around 2 a.m., Famularo, 26, was sitting by the main door leading to the locker room, "holding what appeared to be a jersey covering the lower part of his body," police wrote in the report.
"Nick was asked where his clothes were and he stated he did not know."
Another coach from Asbury Park High School unlocked the locker room for further investigation following the discovery of Famularo. Inside, police reported "human feces on one of the rugs" and "vomit on ... the football jerseys, along with what appeared to be his pants and sneakers."
Casey previously confirmed to Patch that there are currently no charges associated with the incident. He did not confirm whether the case involved drugs or alcohol.
"Famularo's behavior appeared altered," Casey told Patch. "It is unknown what this was due to."
This is a developing story. Patch will have more information as it comes in.
