LWV Hosting Candidates’ Virtual Forum for Asbury Park Board of Educat
The LWV of Monmouth County will host a Virtual Candidates' Forum for the Asbury Park Board of Education on Thursday, Sept 29, at 7 pm.

The League of Women Voters of Monmouth County will host a Virtual Candidates’ Forum for the Asbury Park Board of Education on Thursday, September 29, at 7 pm. The program will be via a Zoom Webinar platform that accommodates a live audience of 500 and registration is required. Visit bit.ly/forumapboe to register in advance. Questions must be submitted in advance during the registration process or by email lwvforum2022@gmail.com and putting “Asbury Park BoE” in the subject line.

The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Running Candidate forums is a major part of their mandate to help educate voters.
The mission of the Statewide Educational Organization Committee, Inc. is to bring together and organize public school parents and community members in low-income cities in New Jersey that have struggling school districts. It works together to identify common problems in the school system and develop and improve educational outcomes for children by organizing public school parents, family members, guardians, youth, and community members to advocate, take action together, and contribute to educational equality.
