Man Busted For Attempted Murder In Ocean Township: Cops
A man charged with attempted murder may have fled New Jersey, according to police. He was caught.

A man charged with attempted murder who police believe fled New Jersey has been arrested, according to police.
Tanner Koch, 26, of Ocean Township, who is also wanted on weapons offenses, was arrested Monday at approximately 10 p.m., police said.
Koch, turned himself in at Ocean Township Police headquarters without incident. Koch was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Center, police said.

The incident happened on Sunday at approximately 5 p.m. when Ocean Township police responded to a report of a man armed with a gun, police said.
A police investigation of the incident in the area of Elberon Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue revealed that the accused fired several shots at another man, police said. The victim was not injured.

Koch had fled the scene prior to police arrival, police said. It was believed Koch fled the state and police were working with outside agencies to try and apprehend him.
The investigation is still ongoing. Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office detectives assisted in the investigation as well.
