Neptune Twp. McDonald's Hosts Black History Month Reading Event

On Feb. 18 the McDonald's will host a reading by local African-American authors, teachers, police officers, principals and nurses:

NPETUNE TOWNSHIP, NJ — On Saturday, Feb. 18 the McDonald’s at Rts. 33 and 35 in Neptune Twp. will host a public reading event in honor of Black History Month, which is February.

Members of the community are invited to hear books read by local African-American authors, teachers, police officers, principals and nurses.

The reading will go from 1 - 2:30 p.m. Feb. 18.

As part of the celebration, the McDonald's will also give away 50 tote bags, books and Happy Meal cards.
