Report Says Major Shake-Up Possible At Asbury Park Schools

A report says a major shake-up could be underway at the Asbury Park School District.

The Asbury Park Press says the shake-up means there could be fewer elementary schools and more grades in the high school.

“We need to re-think, re-imagine what we have and what we are doing,” Superintendent Sancha K. Gray was quoted as saying. “How do we do that? We do that by consolidating, consolidating and reorganizing our schools. We are going to re-imagine a path for our students as we continue racing to get them to that finish line.”
