Monmouth County Summer Camps Guide 2022

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — This is not an inclusive list, but we rounded up Monmouth County day camps for summer 2022:

The Monmouth County Parks' summer camp guide will be in most county parks Feb. 25. Summer camp registration started March 6. Information will also be available online at www.MonmouthCountyParks.com.

After March 6, registration can be done online 24/7; by phone by calling 732-842-4000, ext. 1, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; or in person by visiting Park System Headquarters in Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. You may register your family members only.

Brookdale Community College camps (Lincroft): Back and better than ever with a brand-new lineup for kids and teens this summer. Located at the Brookdale Community College campus in Lincroft, the program runs every week from June to August for children ages 7 to 14. This year Brookdale has added career exploration programs: Whether your child wants to be the next YouTube star, solve global problems, become a tech entrepreneur, learn to cook, understand what it takes to be an engineer, or get a scholarship for fencing, there is a class available for everyone! Alongside our newly added classes, returning by popular demand are the classic courses in art, investing, fashion, magic, STEM and technology.

There are over 100 classes offered both in-room and virtual starting at $179. Most classes are week long with morning, afternoon, and full day options available. With half day and full day camps, kids are able to mix and match. Register for tennis in the morning and coding in the afternoon! If you register for a full day or AM/ PM classes, lunch supervision is included.

Howell Recreation summer programs: Camp dates are from June 27 to July 29. They have a variety of camps for all age ranges and include fun excursions to Rockville Climbing Center and River Tubing. Registration for these camps begins on April 4.

Rolling Hills Country Day Camp (Freehold): Day camp programs with lots of activities for kids in grades Pre-K through tenth. Swimming, sports, arts and crafts, and adventure activities are among the programs available to participants. www.rollinghillsdaycamp.com

Camp Coconuts (Middletown/Hazlet): Camp Coconuts is located at 205 Harmony Road in Middletown, but the summer camp will be held at the Hazlet Township Swim and Tennis Club.Check out camp listings and register here: https://www.campcoconuts.com/

Hoop Group (Shrewsbury): Allow your child to learn basketball in a welcoming and encouraging environment. They provide boys' and girls' skills camps, as well as elite camps with recruitment potential. Find out more: https://hoopgroup.com/

Ivy League Day Camp (Manalapan): Eight-week private summer day camp for children ages 2 to 15. Activities include sports, arts, aquatics and adventure activities. They offer both full-day and mini-day camp rates. Check out more here: www.ivyleaguedaycamp.com

Nature Kids (Howell): Calling all little nature lovers! This camp explores our natural world through discovery hikes, cooperative games, kid-friendly nature crafts and best of all, meeting live animals. Wizarding Games (Tinton Falls): Campers will be sorted into house teams for a week of wizard-themed games and activities including a Marauder's Map scavenger hunt, creating some Fantastic Beasts, and trivia contests.
