2. 1920s Atlantic City Office Building Being Converted Into Loft Apartments (jerseydigs.com) — A long-vacant 1920s office building at 1 South New York Avenue is being transformed into Atlantic Lofts, bringing 56 apartments, ground-floor retail, and a rooftop deck to Atlantic City. Backed by state historic tax credits and local approvals, the project includes affordable units and complements Odin Properties' broader efforts to restore historic buildings like the former YMCA nearby.
   

3. Hybrid-Electric Demonstration Flights Held Across Three States (generalaviationnews.com) — Hybrid-electric test flights recently used Atlantic City's Bader Field as a key stop on new routes connecting small airports to major hubs, part of a federal program for advanced air mobility. Officials say data from these August demonstrations will guide how next-generation aircraft are safely integrated, potentially making regional air travel to and from Atlantic City faster and more convenient.
   

4. Teen accused in deadly Atlantic County stolen Mercedes crash (nbcphiladelphia.com) — An 18-year-old from Atlantic City is accused of driving a stolen Mercedes G-Wagon that crashed head-on in Mays Landing, killing two people and injuring him and three juveniles. Court records show multiple failed police attempts to stop the SUV before the collision, and note Brown was already facing other recent car-related charges as shore towns report similar thefts.
   

5. Beloved Hairdresser Among Victims of Horrific Crash (wchram.com) — An Atlantic City teen and three minors face charges after a stolen Mercedes G-Wagon crashed on Route 50, killing beloved hairdresser Alice Stilwell and her longtime partner, Bob Barr. As prosecutors detail the allegations, friends and family across Atlantic County are rallying around a GoFundMe to help Stilwell's daughters cover funeral and related expenses.
