Investigators are still seeking information about his final days after he flew into Atlantic City in March 1981 and was never heard from again.

Atlantic City Brings Monopoly to Life (prevuemeetings.com) β Atlantic City is leaning into its Monopoly roots to market the city and surrounding region to meeting and incentive planners at IMEX America. Off-Duty Fire Captain Helps Fight Jersey Shore House Fire (patch.com) β An Atlantic City Fire Department captain, off duty in Margate on September 26, spotted smoke, called in the alarm, and jumped in barefoot to help firefighters knock down a serious house fire. While the Margate home was heavily damaged, his quick actions and the joint response meant no one was hurt, highlighting the professionalism of Atlantic City's fire crews even off the clock.

A Crown With a Cause: Black Queens Are Redefining Pageantry (washingtoninformer.com) β Atlantic City will host the Ms. Senior America competition Oct. 11β16, bringing 48 contestants to town as part of a broader moment for Black women reshaping pageantry. The story follows Washington, D.C.'s Betty Entzminger and other Black queens who are using their crowns to promote advocacy, natural hair, and new standards of beauty on national stages.
