$100K Stolen From Manahawkin Construction Company: Police
Forked River's Dawn Sanzari was charged with theft after Macko Construction reported more than $100K was stolen from their business account.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A Forked River woman was charged with theft after a local construction company reported that more than $100,000 was stolen from their business account, police said.
Macko Construction reported the theft to Stafford police on Feb. 27, according to a news release.
Following a month-long investigation, Dawn Sanzari, 50, was charged with second-degree theft by deception and fraudulent use of a credit card on March 25, police said. It wasn't immediately clear what Sanzari's relationship was with the company.

She was charged on a complaint summons and released pending a future court appearance.
