2 Busted In Little Egg For Woman's Fentanyl Death: Prosecutor

Christina Bicki died last March in Galloway. Two Ocean County men sold her the drugs that killed her, authorities said.

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ — Two Ocean County men were accused of causing a Galloway woman's death induced by a combination of heroin and fentanyl. Frank Vitalo and Anthony Wood were arrested Friday in Little Egg Harbor for the death of Christina Bicki, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced.

Bicki died March 19 at age 41. Investigators determined Vitalo and Wood sold Bicki the drugs that killed her. Authorities found both men in Vitalo's Little Egg Harbor home Friday and arrested them.

Vitalo, 46, and Wood, 34, were charged with the following, according to the ACPO:

  • strict liability for a drug-induced death (first-degree)
  • possession of heroin/fentanyl (third-degree)
  • distribution of heroin/fentanyl (third-degree)
  • conspiracy to distribute heroin/fentanyl (third-degree)

They are being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility. A detention hearing is scheduled for Jan. 16.
