2 Teens Charged In Stafford Counterfeit Money Investigation: Police
A 15-year-old and 19-year old, both from the Bronx, were charged with forgery in connection with the investigation, police said.
STAFFORD, NJ — Two Bronx teenagers were charged in connection with a counterfeit currency investigation, Stafford police said.
The investigation launched on Dec. 26, 2025 at ShopRite; it ended Feb. 26, 2026 with the arrest of a 15-year-old boy and 19-year-old Rosbert Carera, police said.
Both were charged with one count of forgery.

The 15-year-old was issued a juvenile delinquency complaint summons to appear in family court and Cabrera was issued a criminal complaint summons to appear in Ocean County Superior Court.
