2017 District 18 Intermediate Division Champions
The Barnegat Little League is home to the 2017 District 18 Champions in the Intermediate Division.
We opened up against a tough Jackson team and jumped out early. We won 14-3. We then went on to beat Berkeley 13-0. Then we played a very good team from Lacey and although we were up 6 nothing in the 1st we found ourselves down 18-6 in the 5th, needless to say it was a slug fest. We pulled it out and won 24-22. In the Championship game, we played the team from Jackson again and it was a game to remember a true defensive battle. We won that game 4-3. Now on to sectionals where we will play a team from Freehold June 30th in Red Bank.
