3 In Manahawkin Charged With Drug Possession: Police
The men were arrested in June after U.S. Customs seized three packages containing steroids and LSD, police said.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Three Manahawkin men are facing drug charges after packages with steroids and LSD were scheduled to be delivered to their separate houses, police said.
The packages were seized by U.S. Customs Border Patrol and Protection Division, Stafford police said. Earlier in the month, United States Postal Service Inspectors contacted Stafford police's Drug Enforcement Unit about the packages, which allowed the police to get search warrants for the three residences, police said.
On June 7, James Balady, 55, was charged with six counts of possession of CDS - steroids, police said. Balady was processed and released, police said.

Two arrests occurred on June 16, police said. First, Jason Benko, 18, was charged with possession of CDS - LSD, police said. Benko was also processed and released, police said.
Andrew Garcia-Villiez, 32, was charged with possession of CDS - steroids, police said. He, too, was processed and released, police said.

All three have pending future appearances in Ocean County Superior Court, police said.
Stafford police said they will not be sharing any future information about this incident.
