All In The Family: Five Arrested In Southern Ocean Heroin Drug Bust

Multi-agency investigation results in arrests of father, son and brother drug-dealing team.

Authorities recently arrested five people - including a father, son and brother - accused of coordinating a heroin distribution operation in Southern Ocean County, a spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.

The arrests were the result of a joint investigation between the Ocean County, Atlantic County and Burlington County prosecutor's offices and the Little Egg Harbor Police Department, said Al Della Fave.

Investigators conducted a no-knock search warrant at Dax Wolhafe's Washington Township home during the early morning hours of March 3, Della Fave said.

Police seized 500 individual doses of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia and roughly $1,500 ins suspected drug proceeds, he said.

Dax Wolhafe, 43, Charles Avenue, was identified as the coordinator of the drug distribution operation. He was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ocean County Superior Court Judge Rochelle Gizinski JSC set his bail at $40,000 cash. Wolhafe was taken to the Burlington County Jail.

Also arrested was Dax Wolhafe Jr, 22, (Dax Wolhafe’s Son) 4 Charles Avenue, Washington Township. He was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wolhafe Jr. was released on a summons.

Kenneth Wolhafe Jr, 46, (Dax Wolhafe’s Brother) of 4 Charles Avenue was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

Dylan Saninocencio Jr, 19, of 4 Charles Avenue, Washington Township was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Saninocencio was released on a summons.

Emma Nickerson, 18, of 726 Ravenwood Drive, Galloway, New Jersey was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

Officers from the Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group, Southern Enforcement Unit, the New Jersey State Police T.E.A.M.S. Unit, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Little Egg Harbor Police Department participated in the raid.

“This is another excellent example of what can be achieved when multiple police agencies at different levels join forces and cohesively work together to combat the distribution of narcotics in New Jersey," saidOcean County Prosecutor’s Captain Jack Sramaty, who is the commander of the Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group.
