The speaker for the session is Dr. S. Ann Earon. The library listing states that Rutgers Master Gardeners are trained and certified volunteers who assist Rutgers Cooperative Extension personnel in providing research-based information on sustainable horticultural practices to Ocean County residents.

Over the years, Earon has learned that success in gardening is enhanced with time, money, and the willingness to toss a plant if it does not behave.

Registration is required for the program. Those who want to sign up can visit tinyurl.com/ShoreGardening, call 609-698-3331, or stop by the Barnegat Branch at 112 Burr St.
