Residents will be able to explore resources in several areas, according to the announcement. Those areas include health and wellness, benefits and assistance, government services, transportation and mobility, and healthy living.

The announcement says health and wellness offerings will include health screenings, wellness checks, nutrition information and mental health resources. It also says residents can learn about insurance options, community assistance programs and support services under the benefits and assistance category.

Government agencies are expected to share information about programs designed to help with everyday needs, according to the announcement. Transportation and mobility resources from across the region also will be available, along with information and practical strategies intended to support an active, safe and balanced lifestyle.

The event also is designed to give residents a chance to speak directly with participating organizations, according to the announcement. Instead of searching online or making multiple phone calls, residents will be able to ask questions, get guidance and learn about programs and services available in the community.

The announcement says the fair may be useful for people looking for healthcare resources, financial assistance, transportation services or educational programs. It also says the event is open to anyone who wants to learn more about local opportunities and available support.
