BARNEGAT, NJ — A drive-thru coffee shop that's undergoing an expansion in New Jersey could be opening in Barnegat next.
A proposal for a 7 Brew is set to go before the Barnegat Township Zoning Board of Adjustment on Aug. 10, according to public notice.
It would be located at 907 W. Bay Ave.
7 Brew coffeehouses are unique in that they have no interior seating. Instead, the shop is entirely drive-thru, with an about 510 square feet buildings where employees make drinks.
The application is bifurcated. This means that developers are seeking approval of a use variance first, with site plans to be presented at a separate, future meeting as long as the use variance is approved.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Barnegat Township Municipal Building at 900 W. Bay Ave. At this time, members of the public are invited to ask questions and share their thoughts.
