5 File To Run For Barnegat School Board: 2026 Election

BARNEGAT, NJ — Five people have filed to run for the Barnegat Township Board of Education, according to the Ocean County Clerk's Office.

July 27 was the deadline for candidates to file for 2026 school elections.

The General Election this year is set for Nov. 3.

Three seats will be available in Barnegat for three-year terms.
