• Scisco's Four-Point Effort Powers Barnegat Past Long Branch in 4-3 Thriller (tapinto.net) — Barnegat sports fans can celebrate as senior Nate Scisco powered the Bengals to a 4–3 home win over Long Branch, contributing to every goal. His two goals and two assists built a 4–0 lead before Barnegat's defense and goalkeeper Ian Soberano-Cruz held off a late rally to secure a 2–0 season start.
   

• Coast Guard Rescues Boater, Dogs In Ocean County (jerseyshoreonline.com) — A boating mishap near Barnegat Light ended safely after the Coast Guard rescued a passenger and two dogs from a grounded vessel and helped get the boat back to shore. The incident, just off Barnegat Bay, involved local Coast Guard crews and commercial salvors, and fortunately no injuries were reported.
